Delicious Dessert: Salted Chocolate Tart


What is  Dessert: Salted caramel Chocolate Tart ?

A salted caramel sauce-topped chocolate tart is made of a buttery chocolate cookie crust, a layer of smooth and creamy chocolate ganache, and plenty of salted caramel sauce on top. Rich chocolate, sweet caramel, and a touch of salt combine to provide a mouthwatering flavour . The tart is normally served cold and can be carefully topped with  cream or vanilla ice cream. How to make Dessert: Salted  caramel Chocolate Tart ? 


Must  follow the following steps


Recipe card 

For the crust:

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate cookies or pastry 
  •  6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

 The caramel filling:

  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar or dates 
  • 500 ml milk or water 
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
For the chocolate ganache:
  • Dark chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Sea salt, for garnish
For the garnish 
  • Walnut 
  • Nuts
  • Honey
  • Raisins

Method :

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Take a bowl add the crushed chocolate,cookies or pastry and melted butter for the crust and mix  the mixture well.

3.  Then , pressure the mixture and make a  thin layer of  tart in a pan  and bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes .

4. To make the caramel filling mix the granulated sugar and water or milk in a  saucepan .low the flame. starring   and cook the mixture  start boiling untill it becomes a deep amber color. 

5. Remove the Caramel from the flame and add the heavy cream, butter, and sea slat  and mix until  it becomes smooth   and let it  to Cool down.

6. Pour the caramel filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly. Place the tart in the refrigerator and let it cool for about 2 hours, or until the caramel become set.

7. For the chocolate ganache, place the chopped dark chocolate in a heat proof bowl. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low flame  until it starts to simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir the mixture until the chocolate is completely melted and the ganache is smooth.

8. Remove the tart from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate ganache over the caramel layer, spreading it . Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top for garnish.

9. Place the tart back in the refrigerator for 2 hours, or until the ganache is set.

10. Once set, remove the tart from the refrigerator and put at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. Slice and enjoy!
