What is biryani?
Biryani is a flavorful dish that is introduced to the Indian subcontinent by the Persians. Now it is enjoyed all over the world .you can enjoy it at any festival and occasion. If you love Biryani and want to cook and you don't know how to make it you do not need to worry about it and you don't need to go anywhere as we have gotten this delicious dish with an easy recipe only for you that you easily cook at home and served with raita and salad. Enjoy with your friends and you can treat your loved ones but must follow the step given below.
How to make Biryani?

For rice
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 4 cups of water
- 1 bay lea
- 4 green cardamom pods
- 4 whole cloves
- I inch cinnamon stick
- Salt to taste
- 500-gram chicken
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 onions to fully chopped
- 4 tablespoons of ghee or cooking oil
- 2 tomatoes fully chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Gram masala includes (4 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, and 4 green
- cardamom pods)
- Salt to taste
- Biryani masala 2 teaspoon
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron paste ( mix in 2 tablespoons of warm milk)
- Fresh coriander leave fully chopped
- Fresh mint leave are also fully chopped
- Lemon chopped in slices, if you want to add
- First of all, wash the basmati rice until the rice gets clean then put it in boiling water for 30 minutes when the rice is cooked partially then remove the water from the rice.
- In a deep pot heat cooking or ghee over medium flame .add the chopped onion and cook until the became golden.
- Now add ginger garlic paste to the pot and cook for a minute until the raw aroma removes.
- Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until tomatoes become soft and mushy
- Before adding the chicken firstly make sure that the washed properly then add the chicken and until the chicken becomes tender.
- Add yogurt, red chili powder, biryani masala, coriander powder, and salt and mix it properly well and cover the pot just for a minute.
- After that add the cooked rice into it low the flame and cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid to give a dam effect due to the stream formation.
- Cook 15 to 20 minutes then remove the lid.
Is Biryani healthy or unhealthy?
Chicken Biryani
Biryani is a healthy diet that contains carbohydrates, protein, fats, minerals, and vitamins. Further, the combination of rice with chicken makes the dish more energetic as rice is a source of carbohydrates, chicken is a source of proteins and fatty acids, and flavorful spices in biryani have many properties like anti- allergic and the use of ghee and cooking oil during cooking significantly contribute to more fats content minerals. Chicken biryani contains almost all the main nutrients. I think chicken biryani can not be categorized as an unhealthy diet.
